Skydesk Shipping ERP — Mobile Application

This section of our Privacy Policy applies to the Skydesk Shipping ERP mobile application (the "App"), distributed through mobile application stores (including Google Play and the Apple App Store) by Vinod Nadar on behalf of OPEN WINGS INFOTECH ("we", "us", or "our"). It describes how the App collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use it.

Information the App collects

  • Account information — when you sign in, our authentication provider (Amazon Cognito) collects and stores your name and email address. We use these to identify you to the Wings Hub backend and to associate you with your bookings, shipments and approvals.
  • Push notification token — on first launch we register your device with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). Firebase issues a device-specific token, which we send to our Wings Hub backend solely to deliver booking, shipment, and approval notifications. The token is never used for advertising. You may disable notifications at any time in your device's system settings.
  • Business data you enter into the App — shipping bookings, rate requests, customer/consignee details, and related freight-forwarding data you submit through the App are stored on our Wings Hub backend operated by OPEN WINGS INFOTECH and used to provide the App's functionality to you and your organization.
  • Diagnostic data — standard crash reports and performance data collected by the operating system (Android or iOS) and the app distribution platform (Google Play or Apple App Store), which we use to diagnose and fix problems with the App.

How the App uses your information

  • To authenticate you and operate the booking, shipment and approval workflows the App provides.
  • To send you push notifications relevant to your work.
  • To diagnose, fix and improve the App.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising and we do not sell your information to third parties.

Third-party service providers used by the App

Data retention and deletion

We retain your account information and business data for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated personal data by emailing support@openwingsit.com. We will respond within 30 days. Where business data is jointly owned by your organization (e.g. bookings created on behalf of your employer), retention is governed by our agreement with that organization.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain types of processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, email support@openwingsit.com.

Children's privacy

The App is intended for professionals in the shipping and logistics industry. It is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We protect your information using TLS-encrypted connections for all data transmitted between the App and our servers, encrypted storage at rest, and role-based access controls in our Wings Hub backend.

International transfers

The App's backend servers are located in India. Some of our service providers (Amazon Web Services, Google Firebase) may store or process data in other countries.
